1. Why TAC-C?

TAC-C (Tehran Advanced Communication Center) has been extensively involved in language training for almost 20 years. Not only do we handle the day to day operations as an English training institute, we also research & develop new and up-to-date programs/ courses responsive to the student need (s). TAC-C is particularly well-known for its Advanced English and Teacher Training courses.

In collaboration with Canada College, TAC-C offers accredited TESOL Certificate / Diploma Courses recognized by TESL CANADA (National Federation of English as a Second Language Teachers). As one of the most qualified Teacher Training Departments in Iran, we have always been in pursuit of developing & upgrading the teaching standards to meet our community need(s).

Here at TAC-C, we work closely with a large network of teaching community who has the thirst and the motivation to obtain the qualification and accreditation of a recognized international organization enabling them to enjoy their career as professionals.

TAC-C will go to a great distance to help the language teachers overcome the problems and challenges they have been facing throughout the years by delivering high-quality training/courses that prepare all teachers (new and already employed) to perform effectively and confidently from the second they step into the classroom.

2. What can I do with a TESOL Certificate?
There are various settings for you to put your TESOL skills and knowledge to use – teaching EFL anywhere in the world, teaching international students in a Canadian private ESL institute, tutoring students, or working for a government sponsored program for Landed Immigrants or Newcomers to Canada.

3. What will I learn in TAC-C, Canada College TESOL program?

4. How is the course organized?
Our TESOL Program is designed according to the guidelines of ‘Canada College’, ‘TESL Canada’ and ‘PELSA’ (Private English Language Schools Association). It includes 140 hours of classroom instruction, 20 hours of research projects plus a 30-hour supervised practicum.
The program is offered in an intensive ten-week format or on a part-time basis. According to Canada College Method, trainees explore teaching, learning and language through task-based, participatory and interactive experiences. The content is based on the most recent research in language acquisition and language education.

5. Who is eligible to take the TESOL program?
Applicants must have completed their senior matriculation (Grade 12) and have demonstrated their proficiency in English. All applicants are required to provide proof of English proficiency by means of one of the international tests and / or taking an assessment test here at TAC-C.

(*Note: Applicants without a University degree may be accepted; they will however not qualify for TESL Canada Level 1 Instructor Certification.)
